Selfless Leadership

This past week, I had the privilege to witness the selfless leadership of Ian Mottershead. A graduate of the Royal Military College class of 1962, he is a great Canadian, and a true gentleman. In his speech to the audience at the Legacy Dinner, he announced his donation of $17,000,000 to the RMC Foundation.

Business leader, philanthropist and former cadet, Ian Mottershead is a salient example of a RMC graduate who, living the ideals he absorbed at RMC, has made a positive difference in the lives of many and he personifies selfless service to both his alma mater and the people of Canada. His accomplishments in the business world have greatly assisted others. His example proves that one person can make a positive difference in the lives of many. Truth – Duty – Valour
